Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience

Responsibilities

1. Facility management
- Maintain daily Liaison with the MEP & FM Engineers for the main technical issues & provide all technical support needed
- Planning and undertaking Planned Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
- Review follow-up and submission of the monthly Report, Log sheets & Meters Readings
- Supervising & Managing the Maintenance Team
- Review & Closing of Work Orders, record all defects in the Service Request Sheet
- Ensuring proper operation & up to date maintenance of all MEP Systems & Equipment
- Daily Update of Service Request Sheet & follow up on all pending issues
- Respond to Main Systems Failures and prepare relevant reports
- Coordinate and monitor the major defects / failure with the relevant parties
- Supervision of the supplier’s maintenance contracts with the systems service providers and coordination with their ground teams
- Liaising with tenants for any maintenance request or technical support
- Daily Coordination with the Facility Manager
- Conduct periodic site visits to support the maintenance / installation teams
- Review and submit the Monthly Reports
- Reporting to upper management

2. Contracting/ renovation
- Project Planning, Budgeting, Identification of resources needed
- Technical support in the selection of Finishing & MEP Third Fix Items
- Technical Team allocation, Management & Technical support
- Conduct periodic Site Visit & Checking that agreed work has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies
- Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards
- Executes the project construction activities in line with the project specifications, scope of work, schedule & requirements
- Preparation & Issuance of Payment Certificates
- Maintain regular liaison with the Site Engineer/ foremen on technical issues
- Review and approve the material to be purchased prior sending the Purchase requisition to the procurement department.

3. Household maintenance
- Provide technical support to the technical team on ground.

4. Estimation
- Determining the scope of the project, reviewing of preliminary data and deliverables such as proposal specifications, drawings, Bill of Quantities as well as attending pre-bid meetings (shared with the upper management) to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate before a project sets-off
- Preparation of Detailed Estimation including pricing breakdown and supportive documents as needed in coordination with the upper management

5. Procurement
- Provide the needed techno-commercial support to the procurement department
